Welcome to Thibodeaux Animal Hospital
Thibodeaux Animal Hospital is a small animal practice in Abbeville, Louisiana owned by Dr. Sam Thibodeaux, providing quality medical care for dogs and cats since 1989. We offer routine vaccinations, wellness exams, dental care, radiology, surgery, in-house diagnostics, and an in-house pharmacy.
Our Hours
We are opened Monday through Friday, 8am-11:50am and 1pm-5pm.
Doctor visits are by appointment between 8:00am and 11:30am and 1:00pm to 4:30pm.

For After-Hours Emergencies
If you have an emergency (or think you may have an emergency) when we are closed, please call our office number and your call will be forwarded to the Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic, or you can call them directly at (337) 989-0992.
Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic is opened Mondays through Thursdays from 5:00pm to 8:00am the next morning and from 5:00pm on Fridays to noon on Monday (opened all weekend and extended morning hours on Monday's for pickups). They are also opened on holidays when we are closed.
Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic is located at 206 Winchester Drive, Lafayette Louisiana, off of West Congress Street between Ambassador Caffery and Bertrand Drive.
Your pet's records are sent to us from the emergency clinic so we can continue care as needed.
